Twas the Night Before A Christmas Carol - One Act
Charles Dickens has promised his children that he would write his first Christmas story and that the family would act it out on Christmas Day (as was their custom to act out his stories). However, today is Christmas Eve and Dickens has writer's block! His crusty, very British butler and their new Irish nanny steal bits of each others past history help Dickens frame his most famous tale.
This one-act version of Twas the Night Before A Christmas Carol was an award winner at the Sautee Nacoochee Play Writing Contest and has been produced several times in community theatre.
